When Brendan Dye from BCD Plumbing & Gas started his custom tipper Trailer build, he had a clear plan for the Ramp setup it required.
“I’m after a good quality strong multi-purpose Ramp that would live on my custom tipper Trailer.”
For Brendan, the Trailer wasn’t built for just one purpose. Between plumbing work, weekend projects, and the occasional adventure, he needed a setup that could handle a bit of everything – without compromising on strength, practicality, or appearance.

That search led him to a set of SureWeld 6/04521ATV ATV Ramps.
When the SureWeld team first reached out to Brendan post-delivery, the build was still underway.
“I have not put the Ramps into action yet still in the works of building the Trailer and working out the mounting brackets I also have plans to powder coat your Ramps to match in.”
With the Trailer build progressing, Brendan worked through the finer details, including powder coating the Ramps to match so they looked right at home on the custom setup. Once the paint and assembly stage was complete, the project came together as one cohesive build.

Then it was straight into use.
“Ramps painted, Trailer got Rego and then went straight to work for a boys trip around Tasmania on posty bikes where the Ramps played a vital part in loading a different posty bike every day for the rotation roster of the support vehicle driver.”
From the winding roads of Tassie came the Ramps’ maiden adventure. Different bikes loaded every day, gear constantly moving, and a support vehicle roster relying on quick and reliable loading – the sort of trip that would quickly show whether the setup worked the way it should.

But beyond the practical side of things, Brendan explains how the Ramps became one of the standout features of the whole build.
“I’m just glad that I was able to find such a quality product to work with and it’s really the bling for my Trailer. Making it an absolute stand out.”
And looking at the finished setup, it’s easy to see why.
The custom Trailer build balances tough functionality with plenty of attention to detail. Built to suit Brendan’s lifestyle, the setup sits pretty parked up and holds its own when put to work.
Sometimes it’s the smaller details that tie a build together. Other times, they end up stealing the show.
